Prayer Vigil 2010
Every Year the First Church Prayer Chain conducts a 24 hour prayer
vigil that begins in the sanctuary at 9:00 PM at the conclusion of the
Maundy Thursday Service, and continues through 9:00 PM on Good Friday.
There is a quiet space provided for participants on the chancel of the
church, which includes a comfortable chair, choices of reading
materials and selections of music as you spend a quiet, prayerful hour.
This year, the vigil begins Thursday evening April 1st and ends on
April 2nd. There is a signup sheet posted on the bulletin board across
from the church office that lists 24 one-hour time slots. In the past
we have had some difficulty filling the late night hours. If your
schedule permits, please consider one of these times. If you have any
